akhromology, by florence to
scale travels
Akhromology exhibits techniques of perceived colour and opponent process theory understanding colours as specific wavelengths of visible light that can be perceived by the human eye, and how vision has the ability to sense colour controlled by three receptor complexes with opposing actions such as red-green, blue-yellow and black-white. The Scottish born artist and director Florence To designs and produces sound and light installations creating generative motion graphics with a strong focus on architectural spatial design in site specific projects.
The INL gallery presents unprecedented exhibitions and installations, founded on the relationship between art and nanotechnology, developed through INL – Instituto Ibérico Internacional de Nanotecnologia – artistic residencies, within the scope of the Scale Travels program. Located in the ground floor of gnration, the INL gallery hosted unique work by artists such as Tarik Barri, AGF, Ryoichi Kurokawa or Joanie Lemercier.
