Moullinex is the alter ego of Portuguese producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist, Lu\u00eds Clara Gomes. From melancholic contemplations of electronic music to house and disco, his work has garnered wide praise from audiences and critics alike. It was through stargazing that Lu\u00eds Clara Gomes developed his passion for astronomy. As a child, he drew galactic maps and imaginary spaceships that later led him to research astronomy and neurology. His passion for science paved the way for electronic music, where Vangelis, Giorgio Moroder, Air, Stevie Wonder, and MPB became his main references. With Xinobi he created Discotexas in 2007, a collective that began as a monthly residency at Lux Fr\u00e1gil in Lisbon and later a label that quickly established itself as a national and international reference. After Flora<\/em> (2012), Elsewhere<\/em>\u00a0(2015) and Hypersex<\/em> (2017), the new album Requiem for Empathy<\/em> (2021) comes to confirm his enormous versatility and subtlety as a multifaceted producer.<\/p>\n Sofia Arriscado (1984) studied Directing at ETIC, Audiovisual Post-production at Restart in Lisbon, and Philosophy at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Porto. She works in documentary recording, video art, and experimental cinema. She was the camera operator and co-editor of the film Jovens de Atenas<\/em> by Pauliana V. Pimentel and the camera operator in the films After the law<\/em> and Eco da V\u00edscera<\/em> by Jonathan Uliel Saldanha. She was part of the selection committee for the International Competition of the Porto\/Post\/Doc film festival (2016-2018). Her authorial work includes Ou-topos<\/em> (2013), Fasma<\/em> (2017), Lapso\u00a0<\/em>(2021), choreographed with Costanza Givone, winner of the Funda\u00e7\u00e3o EDP\/Maat Acquisition Prize at the 13th edition of the FUSO festival, and \u00c1gua Ardente<\/em> (2022), a video installation coauthored with Laetitia Morais and M\u00f3nica Baptista. She is a co-founder of the cultural cooperative Laia, dedicated to the research and production of experimental cinema.<\/p>\n With the clear goal of promoting a perspective on artistic production in the fields of electronic music and digital art, led by artists from or living in Braga, OCUPA has already presented six successful editions.
