Over a day and a half, each participant will have contact with different types of electronic tools and components through assembly and creative experimentation with electronic circuits, building and customizing their own sound instrument, which they will take away with them at the end.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In\u00eas Castanheira is a transdisciplinary artist and researcher. Her work is a continuous dialogue between art and technology, exploring and combining image, sound, electronics, programming and interactivity. She develops projects in multiple domains and collaborative environments, in the form of video, installations, electronic objects, audiovisual performances, concerts and workshops. In the last few years, she has been investigating and experimenting with DIY strategies, hardware hacking and the creative recycling of obsolete or discarded electronic devices.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>trainer<\/strong> in\u00eas castanheira<br \/>\n<strong>schedule<\/strong> saturday, from 10:30am to 6pm, and Sunday, from 2:30pm to 5:30pm<br \/>\n<strong>target audience<\/strong> artists, musicians, programmers, teachers and other interested professionals or students<br \/>\nduration 9 hours<br \/>\n<strong>material needed<\/strong>\u00a0participants should bring a 9V battery and a plastic or wooden box to assemble their instrument<br \/>\n<strong>note<\/strong> the price includes the remaining material needed to build an instrument, which participants can take with them at the end of the session.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><em>Circuito is Braga Media Arts\u2019 new Educational Service and it makes multiple connections between our communities, Media Arts and creativity.
