The gnration open day continues into the night with a DJ set by Catarina Silva, accompanied by the visuals of VJ Muluk. This performance is a co-curatorship between gnration and Dark Sessions, an independent electronic music artistic community. Created in 2017, Dark Sessions was created to bring an alternative night to the students of the University of Minho and has spread throughout the north of the country.<\/p>\n
catarina silva<\/strong><\/p>\n Over the last few years, Catarina Silva has carved out her own space, becoming one of the most infectious names on the national dancefloors. A musical nomad, her sets range from electro to techno and from ebm to house, with acid and psychedelic undertones. She is also one of the founders of the Dark Sessions collective and a member of the ‘Al\u00ednea A’ Cultural Association, a platform for the promotion of artistic creation and cultural development.<\/p>\n muluk<\/strong><\/p>\n Muluk is Adriana Passos, VJ, digital artist and graphic and motion designer. Manipulating live images, her practice brings together fluid patterns and organic images, processed through generative art, to create immersive visuals that play with light and frequency.
