With the aim of boosting local artistic creation, gnration, the Centro Internacional das Artes Jos\u00e9 de Guimar\u00e3es (CIAJG) in Guimar\u00e3es and Solar – Galeria de Arte Cinem\u00e1tica in Vila do Conde have teamed up to promote the tenth edition of the Laborat\u00f3rios de Ver\u00e3o programme to support artistic creation. Created in 2015 by gnration, this initiative is aimed at artists or collectives who want to develop new works in the fields of image, sound, performance, interactivity, music, dance or the intersection of these areas. This year, the Summer Labs will also be accompanied by curator, researcher and writer David Rev\u00e9s. After a residency at gnration and CIAJG, the selected artists will present their new works in installation or performance format at the usual P\u00f3s-laborat\u00f3rios de Ver\u00e3o exhibition.
\nThe audiovisual installation Cr\u00f3nicas visuais de onde n\u00e3o estive<\/em>, by Sally Santiago, the musical transformation project that combines sound creation with interactive and multimedia software +\/-<\/em>, developed by Jo\u00e3o Carlos Pinto, Jo\u00e3o Miguel Braga Sim\u00f5es and Jos\u00e9 Diogo Martins, the video installation Conson\u00e2ncias Ef\u00e9meras<\/em>, by Sofia Morim and Filipe Carvalho, and the audiovisual installation Ouroboros<\/em> by Francisca Miranda and In\u00eas Leal, are the four projects selected for the Laborat\u00f3rios de Ver\u00e3o 2024.<\/p>\n
