In November, ODE \u2013 Orquestra de Dispositivos Eletr\u00f3nicos (Electronic Devices Orchestra) will perform again after several months of brainstorming and creative sessions under the artistic direction of Spanish harpist and composer Ang\u00e9lica Salvi. In this performance, ODE will join forces with CORD\u00c3O \u2013 Coro de Doentes e Amigos Oncol\u00f3gicos (Choir of Cancer Patients and Friends) to create a unique moment.
\nSince its creation in 2019, ODE \u2013 Orquestra de Dispositivos Eletr\u00f3nicos has provided musicians and non-musicians in Braga with a place to meet and share their exploration of sound. Consisting primarily of electronic instruments such as computers, tablets and synthesizers, this ensemble is open to everyone, with no age or musical knowledge restrictions.
\nCORD\u00c3O is a community choir made up of people diagnosed with cancer, undergoing treatment or in remission, and their carers. With the main objective of combating the social isolation of cancer patients and their carers, CORD\u00c3O aims to connect people, sewing together new ways of living and looking at cancer. This project, created by Faz Cultura \u2013 Empresa Municipal de Cultura de Braga, is guided and artistically directed by musicians and mediators Joana Machado Ara\u00fajo and Ricardo Baptista. CORD\u00c3O is a project supported by the 3rd edition of the PARTIS & Art for Change initiative, promoted by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the \u201dla Caixa\u201d Foundation.<\/p>\n
