Guided by Marcelo Ferreira, VFX supervisor at Nu Boyana Portugal, this BMA lab will explore visual effects as delicate and powerful narrative tools. Through concrete examples, we will explore the historical tragicomedy \u00c9 do Inimigo? (Is it the Enemy?), directed by Alexis Morante. This work, inspired by the story of Spanish comedian Miguel Gila, will serve as a reference for understanding how VFX can construct inner universes, evoke memories, and fragment the perception of reality, expanding the cinematic experience beyond the obvious.<\/p>\n
Marcelo Ferreira is an artist and visual effects supervisor with over 20 years of experience in film and television. He is currently part of the team at Nu Boyana Portugal, an international audiovisual production and post-production studio, accompanying film, television, and streaming projects in all stages of development.<\/p>\n
