Concepts from geometry and algebra are transposed into rhythm and harmony in Six Pairs of Consecutive Triangle Numbers. Starting from mathematical abstractions, Z\u00e9 Figueiredo constructs, over the course of six pieces for samples and digital synthesizers, a rhythmic fabric where different forms of temporal organisation overlap and unfold. In this complex dynamic, musical time emerges as a rigorous and fluid organism, multifaceted and in constant transformation. Founder of projects such as Peixe:Avi\u00e3o, Smix Smox Smux and Plano Trif\u00e1sico, Z\u00e9 Figueiredo is also resident composer at the artistic structure Frenesim.
