With a career spanning more than two decades, Jo\u00e3o Pais Filipe has forged a unique path in the investigation of rhythms and timbres. A member of HHY &amp; The Macumbas, his work ranges from contemporary languages and the world of electronic and concrete music to traditional practices and diverse geographies. He has performed all over the world, notably at festivals such as Unsound and Nyege Nyege. On the border between the sacred and the profane, the digital and the organic, Lu\u00eds Pestana investigates the relationship between technology, memory, and imagination.
