Formed by institutions from fifteen European countries, EMAP is one of the most important networks supporting the creation and dissemination of media arts, digital art, robotic art, and bioart in Europe.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Until March 13, artists or collectives who are citizens or taxpayers in a European Union Member State, or from a list of eligible countries outside the EU, can apply. Emerging artists, regardless of age or academic background, are encouraged to apply. More information here.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selected artists will receive a grant of \u20ac4,000, a production budget of the same amount, have their travel expenses covered, and will also be invited to a conference-meeting to be held on May 8 and 9 in Braga. Applicants must propose an artistic project to be carried out through a two-month residency, between April and December 2026, at one of the fifteen member institutions of the EMAP network. Accommodation is provided by the host institution, which will accompany and assist the artists with technical issues and provide them with a place to work.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Since 2022, gnration has been the only Portuguese institution to join the EMAP network.
