Bridle highlights the \u2018wood wide web\u2019 as an example of plant intelligence, showing that trees communicate and share resources through underground fungal networks. The conversations heard throughout the video reveal how disconnected we feel from ourselves, from others, and from nature, as well as a general lack of a sense of belonging. There\u2019s a gradual process of trying to understand plants and how they communicate. The piece calls for interconnection and cooperation between species; a new way of thinking that doesn\u2019t focus on speed or endless growth, but on the self-preservation of communities that take into account the ecosystem they are part of.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This exhibition is part of Edigma Semibreve Scholar, a program of the Semibreve Festival, organized in partnership with the Portuguese company EDIGMA, dedicated to supporting and promoting artistic, audio, and multimedia creations developed by higher education students in Portugal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">The Semibreve Festival is organized by the Auaufeiomau Cooperative, with support from the City of Braga<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Admission is free during the three days of the festival until 18:30 p.m. Afterwards admission limited to holders of a 4-Day Pass or a gnration Daily Ticket and is subject to venue capacity<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">More information at <a href=\"https:\/\/festivalsemibreve.com\/en\/homepage\/\">festivalsemibreve.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Supported by the Portuguese Republic \u2013 Culture, Youth, and Sports \/ Directorate-General for the Arts \/ Network of Portuguese Theaters and Cinemas (RTCP).
