Cinema, as a synthesis of all arts, is able to represent the irrepresentable. This series of films explore some of the invisibilities that cinema allows us to see: death in ‘The Seventh Seal’ (Bergman, 1957), angels in ‘Wings of Desire’ (Wenders, 1987), the other self in ‘The Double life of Véronique’ (Kieslowski, 1991) and the dreams, in ‘On Body and Soul’ (Enyedi, 2017).
