órbita: jogo cruzado — jeanette muñoz x odete / matmos x dicky bahto

23 Nov

Órbita programme is designed exclusively for the online format. Newly commissioned works gravitate around it and bridges are established with the offline programme, focusing on the domains of music, art, and technology.

Canal180, Culturgest, and gnration have joined forces to create Jogo Cruzado (Cross Play), a discipline invented to get to the same place in two opposite ways. From TV and online, original audiovisual works made in artistic sequence will be shown. A short film by a visual artist will be given to a musician to make its soundtrack and, at the same time, a musical composition will be given to a filmmaker to create its film. All the images and music are original and will be premiered in these works. In the second volume, a film by Jeanette Muñoz will be created from a musical composition by Odete and the Matmos duo will create a soundtrack for a film by Dicky Bahto.
