radiografia #4 — talking about who?, by pedro lima
Talking about who? is the name of the sound installation that forms part of the presentation session for Pedro Lima’s debut album. Three of the compositions on Pedro Lima’s disc were recorded in the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception in Braga. Using a microphone positioning technique, Hugo Romano Guimarães was able to capture not only the instruments, but also the vicissitudes and the way sound travels through this space. In this installation we can hear the idiosyncrasies of sound present in these recordings, almost as if we were inside the chapel.
