April 2005, Letícia Novaes takes to the stage to sing with her first band, amusingly named Letícios. The millennium was still in its infancy and Brazil was experiencing a period of excitement and optimism that permeated music and, consequently, the star of this concert. Writer, composer, singer and actress, Letrux is now, twenty years later, a prominent name in Brazilian independent music.
In celebration, she returns to Portugal to mark two decades in which she has not stopped singing. Letrux 20 anos Alternativa is a unique show and a tribute to the music scene that welcomed her, where she grew up and which eventually saw the birth of her solo project. It is a song of praise to independent music made in Brazil between 2000 and 2015, mixing her own hits with compositions by names such as Céu, Tulipa Ruiz, Curumin, Cidadão Instigado and Ava Rocha.
Adopting the nickname affectionately given to her by her friends, Letícia made her solo debut in 2017 with the magnificent Letrux Em Noite Climão. Praised by the public and awarded by critics, this album propelled her to the highest echelons of Brazilian alternative pop. This was followed by Letrux aos Prantos (2020), which brought her to Theatro Circo in 2022, and Letrux como Mulher Girafa (2023). She also maintained the duo Letuce, with Lucas Vasconcellos, with whom she released three albums: Plano de Fuga pra Cima dos Outros e de Mim (2009), Manja Perene (2012) and Estilhaça (2015). In addition to her work in music, she also published the books Zaralha – Abri minha pasta (2015) and Tudo que Já Nadei (2021). The third, Brincadeiras à Parte, is scheduled for release in 2025.
