PARAÍSO returns for another edition dedicated to Afro-descendant and Lusophone artistic expressions, this time with a special focus on celebrating 50 years of independence for Portuguese-speaking African countries. This year, three programming axes — Art, Thought and Mediation — give shape to a festival where one listens and thinks from the margins, from the archives and from the voices that continue to elevate Afro-descendants today.
