The exhibition SOMOS TODOS CAPITÃES – 50 ANOS EM LIBERDADE, in collaboration with Lucky Star – Cineclube de Braga, is promoting a series of film screenings to celebrate the revolution that restored our freedom on April 25, 1974. This exhibition is on show until June 30, simultaneously at the N.6 Cavalry Regiment, the Nogueira da Silva Museum and the Braga Forum.

Using archival material from various visual and audio sources, this document presents the scenario of social and political unrest during the PREC – Revolutionary Period in Progress, from April 25, 1974 to April 25, 1975. Bom Povo Português, together with Deus Pátria Autoridade (1975), are an essential diptych in Portuguese cinema, depicting the transition from a fascist regime to democracy through the utopia of a revolutionary process in which the people were the protagonists.
