Originally from Vila Verde and based in Guimarães, João Maia e Silva has been composing and releasing computer music since 2019, first as Noxin, and now as joão ms. His work has been released on labels such as EVEL Records, 3OP and Active Listeners Club and was recently highlighted as the first name to appear in Autechre’s mix for BBC Radio 6. In this concert, joão ms presents everything speaks of itself (2025), an album built from fragments and excerpts created through improvisations with software programmed by the artist himself over several months.
