In a country that is becoming increasingly well-known, there are, as there always are in similar instances, cities which thrive and progress on the fringes of the system.  A legion of creators from artists to promoters, from publishers to designers, are swimming against the tide, determined to make everything more beautiful, more interesting, and more valuable. Based between Guimarães and Porto, Sofia Ribeiro is one such person. Co-founder of the Ūmër collective, and having spent time with the Hardware Live platform, where real-time electronic music improvisation created space for interaction and discovery, Sofia Ribeiro has drawn on relationships and experiences to create, as System Sophie, expansive and flexible electronic music, ranging from geometric techno to ambient soundscapes. The single “Cygnus” (2025) and the EP “Hydra” (2026) are the first physical milestones on this journey; for Semibreve, she brings previously unreleased music in a live debut, marking yet another of the bold leaps that she consistently takes.

The Semibreve Festival is organized by the Auaufeiomau Association, with support from the City of Braga

Admission is limited to holders of a 4-Day Pass or a gnration Daily Ticket and is subject to venue capacity
