Pequeno Laboratório de Recriar Humanos is an artistic installation that brings together affective memory, identity and technology, proposing a reflection on how Artificial Intelligence, as a system for archiving and producing information, influences the perception, transmission and (re)construction of individual and collective memory.

Inspired by the concept of the Cabinet of Curiosities, the work brings together objects, sounds and projections that evoke shared memories, through narratives that challenge the boundaries between what is lived, imagined and digitally fabricated. The projections are accompanied by radio transmissions that seep into the city’s radio spectrum, among the official broadcasters, inviting the audience to discover the sound by tuning into the radio, turning listening into an act of connection and discovery.

In a poetic and immersive environment, the work establishes a dialogue between the analogue and the digital, inviting the audience to move through layers of nostalgia and reflect on contemporary ways of constructing, transmitting, preserving and recreating memory.

This exhibition is part of Edigma Semibreve Scholar, a program of the Semibreve Festival, organized in partnership with the Portuguese company EDIGMA, dedicated to supporting and promoting artistic, audio, and multimedia creations developed by higher education students in Portugal.

The Semibreve Festival is organized by the Auaufeiomau Cooperative, with support from the City of Braga
