The abundance of digital images and their proliferation across cultural platforms has given rise to an era in which we not only have access to more images than ever but also the computation tools needed to organize this overwhelming amount of visual data. ‘Landscape Past Future’ responds to this environment by using publicly available artworks from major institutional collections to create new digital artworks. Adam Basanta is an artist, composer and performer of experimental music. Born in Tel‑Aviv, Israel, and raised in Vancouver, Canada, he currently lives and works in Montreal, Canada.
