fenda: doppler life, by whynotpipi
In physics, the Doppler effect is the change in frequency of a wavelength in relation to an observer moving in relation to the source. Through a series of augmented reality illustrations, Doppler Life is a self-portrait of everyday life by artist and graphic designer whynotpipi, Pedro Pereira’s alter ego. In this work, the mundane takes on an almost spiritual dimension, and objects and moments become the temple through which hymns to nostalgia echo – the belief that gives encouragement for better days.
fenda is a festival organised by the aubhaus association with the support of the municipality of braga
