gnration open day: goela hiante

Goela Hiante is a duo formed by Adolfo Luxúria Canibal and Marta Abreu from Braga. They met in Mão Morta, but had never thought of doing anything as a duo until March 2020. Locked in their homes, they started a project with the little they had: books, an iPad and an old electric piano. Filmed with a mobile phone, Adolfo Luxúria Canibal read his own poems or those of poets of his choice, while Marta Abreu created sound environments for these readings. After relieving themselves of confinement, they went into the studio to record a disc of dark and gloomy poetry, Goela Hiante (2020).
