Semibreve returns for its 14th edition between 24 and 27 October. Organised since 2011 by AUAUFEIOMAU, with the support of the Municipality of Braga, the electronic music and digital art festival is revered as one of the most important of its kind in Europe, and one of the most interesting in the world. Since its inception, the Semibreve festival has presented an innovative and visionary programme featuring shows, workshops, art commissions and installations by some of today’s most relevant multidisciplinary and electronic music artists. With shows spread across various historically and culturally significant venues in the city of Braga, such as the Bom Jesus Sanctuary, the Immaculate Chapel, the Theatro Circo and the gnration, the electronic music and digital art festival has played a central role in promoting exploratory electronic music throughout the north of Portugal.
The 14th edition of Semibreve will feature names such as Moritz Von Oswald, Kevin Richard Martin – better known as The Bug – Nídia, Iceboy Violet, Rrose, Ziúr, e Nueen, Christina Vantzou and many more yet to be announced. The gnration will once again host the festival’s exhibition programme, as well as two nights of dancing with the clubbing programme.
