Starting from the exhibition Matéria Escura Digital, on view in galeria um, this masterclass focuses on the less transparent aspects inherent to high-volume visual data technologies, such as generative systems that use machine learning. Throughout this BMA lab, the ideas, research and exploratory artistic practice that informed the development of the author’s works and this body of work are explored in greater depth.
