Organized by Arte Total, in 2026, the Braga International Videodance Festival (BIVDF) celebrates ten years as a unique stage for the fusion of dance and cinema. Over the years, this festival has established itself as a space where the art of the body intertwines with audiovisual language, giving rise to creations that explore new ways of seeing and feeling. Artists and audiences come together in an environment of learning, sharing, and discovery, where dance is transformed into image, movement takes on new dimensions, and technology expands creative possibilities, deconstructing the limits of traditional performance.

An open call for submissions of projects to be presented at the tenth edition of the festival is open until February 28.

Founded in 1992, Arte Total is a structure for creation, production, and cultural mediation dedicated to contemporary artistic practices, in particular contemporary dance and the performing arts. Its activity also focuses on the interdisciplinary intersection between dance, music, visual arts, and digital technologies.
