In 2024, we invited Inês Malheiro to the Radiografia cycle. From that invitation emerged the foundations of I’A’V, a trio that brings the Braga composer together with Arianna Casellas and Violeta Azevedo. From this triangulation now comes their first release, Volatile Poem (2026). Throughout this work, the songs merge into a long poem, in which sparse electronics of arpeggios, glassy textures and ruptures become imbued with the lyricism of Casellas’ cello and Azevedo’s flute, while allowing themselves to be led by Malheiro’s voice. Returning to gnration, the trio presents this album at OCUPA.
