Marking the centenary of Amílcar Cabral, whose work continues to teach us to “walk with our own feet and think with our own heads,” UNA – União Negra das Artes presents the ongoing development process of the Manual Antirracista para as Artes e Educação (Anti-racist Manual for Arts and Education – MAAE). This encounter is mediated by Dori Nigro, Melissa Rodrigues, and Raquel Lima, all of whom have been instrumental in crafting this manual and reinforcing an anti-racist commitment within the institutional contexts of art, as well as formal and non-formal education.
