Exploring the voice as a territory of invention and shared listening, Vera Morais and her ensemble EUPNEA come together in the órbita cycle to present a recorded piece. Singer, improviser, and composer, Vera Morais performs regularly in a duo with saxophonist Hristo Goleminov and with the trio Novelo Vago. She is co-creator of the LIÇO collective, directs the Queer Choir Amsterdam, and is co-curator of the Improbellissimo concert cycle. In 2024, she released the album é apenas um pouco tarde, on the Carimbo Porta-Jazz label, considered one of the best of the year by jazz.pt. In February 2026, she will release the eponymous debut album of EUPNEA, the voice and flute ensemble she leads.
