The 16th edition of Semibreve takes place between 22 and 25 October, with its usual stop at gnration. Organised since 2011 by AUAUFEIOMAU, with the support of the Municipality of Braga, the electronic music and digital art festival is revered as one of the most important of its kind in Europe, and one of the most interesting in the world. Considered an essential platform for the celebration of digital art and for the promotion of exploratory electronic music in northern Portugal, Semibreve’s programme spreads across several historically and culturally significant venues in Braga, such as Igreja dos Congregados, Capela Imaculada, Theatro Circo and gnration.
In addition to the clubbing programme, from 22 to 24 October gnration hosts the Edigma Semibreve Scholar exhibition, a festival programme in partnership with Edigma dedicated to multimedia and sound projects created by higher education students from several national institutions.
