From the urban pulse of the South Bank to the rhythmic energy of the North, *Entre Ritmos e Margens* brings together two distinct musical worlds in an encounter of creation, listening, and experimentation. The project also stems from a desire to bridge geographical divides—between words and percussion, between the beat and the sonic texture of the instruments. From this convergence emerges an artistic residency that will feature an open rehearsal, with commentary by the artists, focused on the instruments they use as tools to develop the material for *Entre Ritmos e Margens*.

Xullaji, a rapper, poet, producer, and sound designer raised on the South Bank, joins Krake—the stage name of percussionist and drummer Pedro Oliveira—in an artistic residency that brings together two musical languages and different ways of conceiving rhythm.

Xullaji and Krake’s artistic residency at gnration culminates in a rehearsal open to the public.
