nik colk void

A sound artist, composer and electronic music producer, Nik Colk Void emerged on the electronic and experimental music scene as a member of the acclaimed band Factory Floor. Using instruments such as voice, guitars and eurorack systems, the artist creates compositions that drift between techno, club, experimental and noise. Her studio albums with her groups Factory Floor, Carter Tutti Void and NPVR have been released on labels such as Mute, DFA, Blast First, Editions Mego, Alter and Industrial. She made her solo debut with the album Bucked Up (2020) – which she presented at gnration, at the Semibreve Festival – and recently released, with Klara Lewis, Full-On (2021), a work recorded in Braga and also presented at Semibreve. The artist had previously visited the city with Factory Floor.

In recent years, his work has been presented all over the world, at venues and festivals such as Mutek, Sonar, ARS Electronica, British Film Institute, Oi Futuro, Art Basel, Frieze London, FIAC Paris, Signal Festival, Miraikan Science Museum, B39 and Funkhaus. He also visited gnration with the exhibition Wavelengths of Light, created during an artistic residency at INL – International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, as part of the Scale Travels programme.
